David's Story
Life
I knocked around for a number of years after high school trying to figure out what career line to follow. I decided to work as a Union Carpenter, which I did for a number of years. I also worked for the Department of Defense through a contract arraingment for about 19 years.
In that time I was married and divorced twice. I have one child by both marriages.
I am now attempting to semi-retire by working as an Apartment Manager of an apartment complex which is next to a golf course. The first tee is just fifty ...Expand for more
yards from my front door. However, I have been working more than I thought I would and I don't get out and golf as much as I expected. My Grandmother use to say, "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is". I have found that to be true in this case. The job paid to well and had to many perks to be as good as I thought. I thought it would be easy and would allow me allot of time on the links. The fact is, it is easy but time consuming. I don't get the time on the links as I thought I'd get. Oh well, such is life.
