Life
On December 31, 2006 I retired from the U.S. Forest Service. I had worked for the Forest Service for 39 years. I started working for them just after graduation from Naches and worked around the world. We live in Port Townsend, Washington. I am an avid fly fisherman.

n doing this for nearly 20 years. Our oldest son Jarred, just graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in fisheries biology and aquatics sciences. He works for the Forest Service as a helicopter rapeller fighting wildland fires. Our youngest son Jeremy, is a senior at Central Washington University majoring in wildlife biology and is also a wildland firefighter.
