David's Story
Life
I have been married for 5 years to Jamie my wonderful wife. We met in Germany and have a beautiful daughter (McKenzie) who is now 4 years old. Kevin, my son just turned 16 years old. We live in Monroe Georgia and plan on retiring there soon.
Workplace
My office in located in Winder Georgia. I am located in the National Guard armory next to the recreation center. So, If you are in the area stop by and ask for me (Sergeant First class Johnson).
Military
I left Georgia 30 days after graduating highschool, for Basic Training. In less then a year I shipped off to Germany. I was there for the fall of the Berlin wall. I spent many ho...Expand for more
urs training for the attack from West Germany that never happened.So instead of fighting, I ran a Marathon on the border of the DMZ. I served as a guard for the General of the European Forces during Derert Storm. I crossed the Sava river into Bosnia with the 1st Armored Division. Shortly afterwards, went to Macedonia for a peacekeeping tour. I spent time in Hungry and Croatia. In 2001 I went to Kosovo and was able to cross into Serbia for a awesome mission.
