David's Story
Life
After high school, I got married, worked, and for 3 or 4 years just enjoyed living and learning. I joined the
Army at 22 years old. I stayed in for 8 years. This is where I obtained my electronic background. I traveled
all over the US, Vietnam, the Pacific and was also in Europe for 2 years. After the service ended in 1974, I
went into civil service working for the Air Force for 4 years in a com nav shop repairing radios and
instruments for jet aircraft. I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978 and I still reside in the area today. The desert
has a beauty that kinda grows on you. I have worked for Motorola (10 years) and Medtronic (14 years). I
stayed married to my first wife for almost 20 years and am still married to the 2nd for almost...Expand for more
17 years. Life
has been generally pretty good except for a little round with basil cell cancer. So far, I won that round.
While in Lubbock working for The Air Force, I went to school at night at obtained an associate degree. I
continued on at Texas Tech; then, I moved to Arizona and went to the University of Phoenix where I have
obtained a bachelor and a Masters degree. I enjoy hobbies such as model railroading, gold mining, target
shooting, amateur (ham) radio, and fishing. I live on a lake so I can fish and run my radio control sailboats
after the ducks. Sometimes you wonder what ever happen to some of the people you used to know. This
is a good way to let people know what has happened to you. Everyone....have a good day everyday.
