My best friend would tell you I'm compassionate, gentle, good listener, helpful, and well grounded, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as aloof and distant. Same way I was in School. I was/am loyal, but it seems A talks to me about a problem with B, and then while I am talking to B, A sees it and gets mad at me. I have no enemies, and have forgiven everyone who 'done me wrong' and hope I will be forgiven for the many wrongs I have done. That all sounds negative, but I am an optimist. f my life, and now that I am retired, I get to the range as often as possible. You can find me on M14firingline.com most any day, or Appleseed.org or RWVA.com I'm also a devoted listener to Prairie Home Companion, although Garrison Keillor and I don't agree on politics. Lake Wobegone is a wonderful place to visit, perhaps as good as or better than Mayberry. I never was a 'mixer' and could usually be found with one, sometimes two, friends. I apologize for missing the 2008 reunion, no excuses, I was simply out of touch. I miss you all. Please write back. dave
