David's Story
My claim to fame is our three terrific kids, their wonderful spouses, and 9 grandkids, ranging in age from 5 to 10. Each family has three kids. Our younger daughter lives just 15 minutes away and has a medical practice that my wife, Joyce, works at. Our son is 14 hours away in Arkansas, selling almost $2B of Kraft-Heinz products per year to Walmart. Our older daughter is married to a West Point (Army) grad, so they move around a lot, but are currently only 3 hours away at Fort Bragg, NC. Since I graduated from Annapolis (Navy) there is some amount of rivalry there… and with three kids they outnumber us!

orth Carolina. This is a job that I will now take to retirement (if I ever get to be old enough to retire). I get to work with very caring and hard-working employees and volunteers, serving our military, veterans and their families with financial support, mental health workshops, homeless veteran events, VA medical center volunteering, and other services. On top of that, in times of disaster I can get involved and help there.
Six years ago we moved from Maryland to North Carolina and built our dream home on beautiful Lake Wylie, a 25-mile long lake south of Charlotte. We think that if you are lucky enough to live on a lake, you are lucky enough, and it is wonderful that our kids and grandkids agree, so we get together at least once a year at the lake. If you are ever out this way, be sure to visit. We are only 20 minutes from the Charlotte airport.
