David's Story

Life Retired, do some consulting out of my home, play lots of golf in the summer, shovel lots of snow in the winter...it doesn't get any better. Enjoy my 2 daughters and friends....it doesn't get any better Lately have been trying to locate school friends but not having much luck...it could be better. In May I'll be traveling to Kentucky & Arkansas to see to classmates from El Cajon that I haven seen since I was 15 will be a real treat. Hope everyone is enjoying the later years as much as I am... Hope to see some of you or at least hear from you For the last year and a half have been an on site project manager for a casino project ..just love it. working more hours than I want,,,guess I forgot I am retired. WELL ITS 2012 AND THINGS HAVE CHANGED IN MY LIFE..I'M NOW SINGLE AND WORKING AGAIN. AT LEAST I'M LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE A HOME AND DOG, AS YOU CAN SEE HE'S A BIG PART OF MY LIFE. HOPE TO MAKE IT OUT TO WASHINGTON TO SEE MY SISTER SOON.....WOW ITS HARD TO BELIEVE I'M 68...WHERE DID THE TIME GO. I'M IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, PLAY GOLF TWICE A WEEK AND WALK BAXTER 2 TIMES A DAY..ALMOST EVERY DA...Expand for more
Y. I LIVE IN A GREAT SUBDIVISON..HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS AND BAXTER HAS MADE MEETING PEOPLE SO MUCH EAISER...HE'S SUCH A GREAT DOG..LOVES PEOPLE OTHER DOGS CATS AND ALL KIDS.... 2014 Well my friends a lot has changed mostly my out look on life. This year I lost 2 of my dearest and longest friends. I'm still working quoting steel buildings from home. I have 2 dogs now a English lab and a pit lab mix. These two are my reason for living. I walk them in the park every morning for 35 to 45 minutes the early evening 12 blocks around the subdivision. Hope I don't have to lose any more friends. Please let those you care about how you feel toward them. You might not get the chance to tell them . I'M DOING OK BUT NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE IN THIS POSITION AT THIS AGE..I HAVE 2 DAUGHTERS AND AM LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THEM OFTEN. HAVE A FEW FRIENDS FROM SCHOOL I'M STILL WRITING TO..LOST A FEW GOOD FRIENDS AND AM SO SORRY I DIDN'T GET TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH THEM. OTHER THAN OUR HEALTH I THINK LOSING OUR OLD FRIENDS IS A TOUGH THING TO HANDLE. ANY WAY LIFE GOES ON AND AS LONG AS I HAVE MY PUPPY I'LL BE FINE.
