David's Story
I was the Australian kid that left to return to Sydney. I have nothing but fond memories of the time I spent living in the US and the people that were my friends. I still consider the Bay Area to be my second home.
I still live in Sydney, Australia and I'm married with two kids (well not so much kids anymore). I'm a company CEO running a mid-size business. Prior to that I was COO for America Online in Australia (in AOL's halcyon days) and EVP Technology and Operations for AOL in Japan (based in Tokyo).
I've had a rich and interesting life that's involved loads of travel (I guess it's in my...Expand for more
blood). I spend my time these days trying to fend off the ravages of time through regular exercise and being careful about what I eat. I'm not sure how successful I've been but I figure it's better to give it a go.
I'm not sure that I'll be well remembered by anyone in this group as I only spent a relatively short time at Cap. It was certainly memorable for me though which is what's prompted me to sign up for Classmates. If you're at all curious, you can dig out your 1975 yearbook and you'll find me there.
