More about David:"Born and raised in Chicago area. Began martial arts at age 13, had first meditation experience, began practicing Zen Buddhist meditation at age 14. During early teens I raced motocross, was a structural ironworker foreman till age 22. Began doing yoga at 19, took a one month workshop on yoga on a little island off the coast of British Columbia with Joel Kramer in 1976, became a yoga teacher, starting in Aspen, Colorado.

yn Rand) in 1978, became a radical libertarian, with certain conspiratorial leanings (e.g., G. Edward Griffin). (I am anti-war, anti-federal reserve/IRS, anti-state intervention in personal, economic & international affairs, but NOT an "isolationist." I am "anti-corporate, pseudo-free-trade" business; but PRO-Voluntary, DE-Centralized free enterprise w/individuated cooperation, but NO State interventions. -- Think Ron Paul Revolution. -- I believe that government with a Police Power is inherently violent at its foundation, and a violation of the yogic principle of Ahimsa -- non-harming -- and against the teachings of the Old & New Testaments of the Bible.)
I became a massage/ bodywork/ yoga therapist in 1981, w/extensive training (mostly self-taught) in Structural Bodywork and human sciences beginning 1982. Started developing my own system of psycho-neuro-musculo-fascial therapy, began teaching it in 1989 at Heartwood Institute in Northern California. I now teach a system of Yoga/Bodywork/Whole Health Therapeutics called DSL EdgeWork, which includes my sub-system of Let-Go Yoga.
I've lived in more 15 cities, 9 states, and had a practice in Acapulco in 1985 for a short time. (It got really boring there really quick, & the earthquake shut me down. The locals started calling me "doctor," which I though might get me in trouble with the laws.)
Early 2000s I lived in Prescott AZ for 2 years, then Sedona AZ for 2 years. Spent a LOT of time in Omaha 2002 - 2003. Then went to Boston. Currently living in Southwest, planning on going totally mobile for a while.".
