Matt's Story
After graduation I continued my studies at FSU, eventually switching majors from Marine Biology to Computer Science, and fell in love with it (Geek).
I lived in Tallahasse working for the State until 1989, at which time I relocated to Orlando to work for the Walt Disney Company as a Database Administrator. I've been a part of Disney IT ever since.
I met my future wife (a Terry Parker graduate) at Florida State, and we've been marrie...Expand for more
d for 26 years. We have three children with ages ranging from 18 up to 24.
I'm happy to say that I've achieved two of my life goals:
- I became a certifed SCUBA diver in 1972 (while at Fletcher Junior High), but in 1996 I took it a step further and became a SCUBA Instructor.
- In 2004 I earned my wings and became an FAA certified private pilot. I guess I don't believe in inexpensive hobbies.
Yeah, I consider myself a lucky man.
