David's Story
I thought I would be continuing from where I left off but will start from the middle.as I said before I was giving what I thought was the greatest job in the world. I literally love to fly airplanes. So to get a job flying outside of the military was beyond expectations. Eastern Air LInes at that time was one of the top company's to work for. On Dec. 6,1965 I began my career. Vietnam was just starting up and I have to admit I felt a little guilty avoiding what would have been and obligation if I had stayed in the USAF. door of my apartment asking me to sign a petition to end the war. I passed the Pentagon on my way to work and saw the many protests that were going on. The worst part of my stay was watching Washington burn when I was on final approach for landing at the airport after Martin Luther King was assassinated. Oh well, on to more pleasant things. I am leaving out a lot of details but I don't want to write a book. After two years in Miami I have a new home, two cars and a new son. Then I acquired a obsession. Golf. Which still remains with me today. Soon I joined a Country Club. Relativity inexpensive but not it fed my obsession. Not bad for a kid who said he would be happy making twenty thousand a year.
