David's Story
Let's see. Attended the U.S. Military Academy from July '70 through June '74. Along with developing life-long friendships and getting a quality education, picked up snow skiing and SCUBA diving which remain passions. velopment for the last 13 years. Get to Colorado for 4 - 6 ski trips per year and will probably settle there after my son graduates from high school in two more years. As John Denver would say, "nothing like a Rocky Mountain high"! At the very least, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, come January 1, 2013, I am retiring or taking a six-month leave of absence. I'm taking the truck and RV and for the first 90 days will ski every hill in the U.S. and Canada I've always wanted to ski but haven't to date. My wife says she'll join me on long weekends when I'm reasonably close to a major airport. The second 90 days, will return to TX, pick up my Goldwing and go on a 90 day tour of the other places I've always wanted to visit. Just the thought of it all invigorates me to no end!!!
