David's Story

Life After a career in the Army, I am now retired. My son Robbie has his own company in Austin, TX, and my daughter is a senior at Harvard studying Biomedical Engineering...Proud dad of both of them. Now days I spend a great deal of time enjoying life, travel overseas and in US and building 1965 and 1966 Mustangs.!!!!!! School It was the first year of JROTC at Morehead. It got me into the military and a career that lasted 28 years. I really dated only one girl in High School Belinda Jones. School for me was a place to see my friends Daryl Light and Rusty Smith. Military Well Lets see...I spend 12 years in the 82d Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC... I traveled the world and went to , Panama, Honduras, Saudi Arabia. 1976-1977 Fort Dix, NJ 1976-1980 Fort Bragg, NC 1982-1984 Oakland Army Base, CA 1984-1984 Fort Rucker, ALA 1985-1990 Fort Bragg, NC 1990-1991 Saudia Arabia 1991-1993 Fort Bragg, NC 1993-1999 Washington Army Reserve 2008-2010 Senior Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan
