David's Story

Guess I should update this more often. As of September 17 2017, life is different now. I have retired after 28 years in education and retirement is great! My kids are older, My son is 26 and working for the State of Alaska as a civil engineer. My daughter is married and gave me my first grandchild, a beautiful little girl named Rose. My youngest is a junior at Eastern Washington. I still act at the local theater and have branched out to movies. I had the lead in a Chad Carpenter movie called Moose the Movie. My new endeavor is being a partner in a local consulting company. We are close to finishing a project that will Bring a liquid natural gas plant to Houston Alaska. I still fight the battle of the bulge but am blessed and healthy. I look back on our high school times with great memories. I hope that you are blessed and life is good! rlee 14 and Kaycee 11. I have been married for 25 years to a wonderful lady, Marilee. We live in Palmer, Alaska. it is 40 miles Northeast of Anchorage. I love to Fish, play Golf, and collect DVD's. We have lived in Alaska for going on 25 years. I came to the town of Palmer to be a Director of Christian Education for St. John Lutheran. I went on to teach 3rd grade for 5 years in the public school system, then decided to get my masters in Public School Administration. I then was a Middle School Assistant Principal for 1 year and for the past 14 years I have been principal at Finger Lake Elementary. I represented the State in 1999 as National Distinguished Principal. I have my superintendents certificate. This yera I ventured out into Community Theater and Played "Cogsworth" in a 6 week successful run of "Beauty and the Beast." I was nominated and won Best supporting Actor. Next year may run for a State Senate Seat. Life is Good!! Would love to hear from you!
