David's Story
After leaving Shortridge in 1981, I went to Northwest for my final year of high school. After graduation, I went to West Point for a year before transferring to Purdue. After two years at Purdue, I transferred again to Howard. I ultimately earned my bachelor's from Howard and returned to Indy where I worked for the Community Service Counsel, a division of the United Way.
In 1989, I left Indy again -- this time to go to law school at the University of Chicago. I earned my law degree in 1992.

ers. Most recently, I've been executive producing feature films (check out The Salon with Vivica Fox, if you look close you will see me embarrassing myself, and State's Evidence,a teen drama).
Sixteen years ago, I married my wife Kim. We live in the suburbs with our three children, Michael 15, Mikaela 12, and Mayah 9. My wife and kids are great and we make a concerted effort to spend "family time" together.
My favorite pastime is golf. Last Summer, I broke 80 for the first time.
I still keep in touch with a few of my closest friends from Shortridge. I talk to Bill Haygood, Darryl Brigham and Michael Foster on a regular basis. I would however, like to re-connect with other high school chums.
