David's Story
Hello everyone! I hope this finds all doing well in your life's journey. Graduation is now a memory of our youth. Most have gone separate ways and many are still in town or in Jersey. I remember graduation practice at the stadium trying to forecast the future. I remember thinking, "What direction are we destined to go and will we be successful? What is our destiny?" We were young back then and now we are seasoned citizens with a lot of knowledge and wisdom. After graduation, it was on to college. I ended up in Ohio and began a career in business management. I also began a law enforcement career at the same time. I began a full speed, multiple career life doing everything I considered as fun. ptions were correct because the business eventually closed down. Entering into public service full time as a law enforcement officer in SC was close to ruination financially. But, with a commitment and unequivocal goal to succeed, my career finally began to ameliorate. I have learned in law enforcement how vicious and poignant people can be. It is guaranteed you will be involved in a plethora of critical incidents, violence and you will make ultimate decisions. Life provides periods of augmentation, prosperity and economic and personal despair. It is all about doing something about it, being determined, fighting, getting back on your feet, seeking help if you need it, making changes to improve your life, being self-reliant and moving on. That is my personal assessment. Life continues to be a learning and exciting journey. Please take care of yourselves. Being young in high school offered invincibility with no health issues. As we get older, it is important we try and keep ourselves healthy. Our health is now the most precious asset over retirement accounts, tax free investment vehicles or capital growth. Good luck to all and if you are on Facebook, please visit me and say hello.
