David's Story
Life
I've been keeping busy, lately working as a software developer in New Jersey and raising two young daughters with my wife of six years, Marci. My life is great now, but I sure took a circuitous route to get here. Following college at the University of Virginia, I worked at the United States Marshals Service headquarters in Arlington, VA. I would like to say it was exciting, but I worked in various administrative areas, not in law enforcement.
After that, I attended law school at the College of William and Mary, where I was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review. I ended up working first as a law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark and then as an associate at Pitney Hardin, one of New Jerse...Expand for more
y's biggest firms. If Pitney taught me anything, it taught me that I hated the practice of law. After a few years of practice, I decided to go back to school and get into computers.
I first attended Montclair State and then finished up a second bachelors degree in Computer Science at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. In addition, I got a job in 2000 working for UniPress Software, a software company in Edison, NJ, where I currently work. We produce a web-based issue tracking software application called FootPrints.
I married my wife, Marci in December 1998 and in June 2001, our first daughter, Elisa, was born. In November 2004, Elisa was joined by Hayley, our second daughter. We live in Iselin, NJ.
