David's Story
Life
After completing my military service (Army 62-65) I joined IBM in Princeton, NJ. I dated a beautiful and charming young lady from Hightstown, NJ in 1968 and we were married in 1969. We have two children, Holly, born 1970, married with three children and living in southern NC, and Darren born in 1971, married and currently in his lastyear of his PHD in History at TCU in Fort Worth, Tx. We have three lovely grandchildren, Phillip Christopher '91, Madeline Renee '03, Aidan Michael '05 and a fourth due in February,'08. Retired from IBM in '97 after 32 years, worked a few years after as project manager for a consulting firm in Charlotte NC on a Year 2000 project for a national chain store organization. da in 2007. We have lived in three places in NJ, once in NY,twice in TX, once in Pa, twice in NC and back to Florida for the second time.
In 2005 we purchased a 38 foot Dutch Star motor home and hope to spend as much time as possible traveling.
School
Attended Freeport, NY schools from first grade thru ninth grade. Completed high school at Lakemeont Academy in Lakemont, NY in '61.
College
Attended Rider College in '66
Workplace
Worked for IBM from '65 to '97 held various positions in administration, marketing, divisional management, internal sysyems support and project management
Military
Enlisted in '62 and attended signal school at Fort Monmouth, NJ, then was assigned to the 1st Cav Division in Korea for 18 months. My final post was White Sands NM. On discharge I was an E5.
