David's Story
So, how exactly did I end up in Minnesota, of all places! After the Chicago winters, not being able to wear a hat or gloves because that wasn't cool. I'm here because John Wheeler, a Melvin Simon v.p. thought I would be the right person to start up the housekeeping function at Mall of America. Got my shots and passport and paid my taxes to Indiana and was allowed to leave. What I found is that St. Paul is a city of neighborhoods like I remember.
Gonna be a granddad...again! Second for my daughter. Due in January, 2011.

k thru both the V.A., which granted me 30% disability, and Social Security which granted me survivor benefits. I'm appealing the V.A. determination because some conditions were not reviewed and involved with social security disability for the same reasons as the V.A. and some more. BUT I am happy. My sons and daughter are all a dad can ask for, in every way. So, too, my son and daughter-in-law. When did you ever meet a grandkid you didn't like. Would really like to meet someone who shares my kinda quirky interests and can talk about more than the weather, sports, cars, books, religion, music, model ships, card modeling, orange colored autos.
