St. Catherines : Whats to say? Over 30 years since I moved from Canada to the U.S. You might remember me, I was the only 'Yank' attending St Kitts in 1971. I'm looking for Robert Redfearn, Tim Powers, or Shaun Tiner.
Davidson: Even if I haven't stayed in touch with everyone, I know how to get in touch with most of them through someone else. There are a few exceptions. If I haven't seen you in 30 years then maybe it would be good to drop me a note.

This is where I made my best friends, and if it weren't for them, I'd have hated the place. The highest concentration of punks and wannabe's in the entire army. Thing is, I'm probably going to join the Ranger association this year, to help donate headstones for all of our "sons & little brothers" who've fallen in battle. USA: This is weird. I haven't seen any of my friends from college since I graduated, not one. I can't even remember their full names.

About me: I'm a single dad. My son (Rost, born 1991) lives with me. he is my whole world and I'm very proud of him. I went as far as you can go as a consultant/programmer/engineer, and retired to travel and write. I'm working on a novel that explores one mans search for adventure/meaning/God using Josesph Campbells Monomyth format. I spend my days writing and rewriting dialog, trying to find the perfect representation of conversation.
I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2001 and may do part of it again this summer (2007) with my son. I spent 3 years living in the woods of Vermont, skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing, trying to rediscover beauty. I dislike Democrats and Republicans equally. I like to blog and node, to the point of distraction from my other writing.
