I worked in the deep sea diving industry out of Houma Louisiana. I became a Hyperbaric Engineer. I worked on several projects including the Seawolf fast attack submarine. I also built hyperbaric research and treatment facilities at Travis AFB and in San Juan,Puerto Rico. friend Dave Stang, and I took a scuba diving course at the U of M in 1980. I liked it so much that I decided to make a career out of it. So it was off to Seattle. At DIT I studied underwater salvage, photography, rigging, mixed gas and saturation deep sea diving, and a whole lot of other neat stuff. I am proud to say I graduated with a 99.4% grade. I was hired right out of school by Santa Fe Underwater Services, that was owned by the Kuwaiti Royal Family. I had many exciting and profitable adventures. Workplace I really like my job. I am the production foreman. The scientists make grams of stuff in the lab. Then I make tons of it in the factory. When I worked offshore I opened and closed valves by hand. Now I do almost everything from a computer screen.
