David's Story
Life
Moved up to the Eastern Sierras, to Bishop, CA. in 1972- started up and owned an Automotive Service Center for 32 years-During that time- I got my voc.ed. teaching cred. at UCLA- to teach automotive technology- I sold the business and property June-2005 - and have worked as a pharmacy tech. for fun. We have a mini-ranch (4 acres) in foothils of Sierra Nevada mountains- two horses- a burro- two auzi cow dogs. t of Bishop Sunrise Rotary Club- spent 10 years as Trustee on a board of education. Some may remember my candy apple red 57' chev. convertable- I sold it years ago - and have built several street rods since then.I used to be seen often at Hot August Nights- in Reno every August. I still play tenor sax in a Big Band- and have played in the Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee in July. I still keep in touch with several members of the "Continentals" Band we played in around So.Ca. back in the 60's.
