USAF Reserves: LT COL DAVID EUGENE SCHOLL OBJECTIVE Air Defense LNO EXPERIENCE Jan 90 to Present DEPUTY REGIONAL DIRECTOR, Region II USAFA ADMISSIONS Leads 27 officers in Alabama/Northwest Florida. Officers identify, counsel, and evaluate AFROTC scholarship and USAFA candidates. Recruits applicants for Academy programs at 20 secondary schools from four counties. Supervises and certifies the participation of officers in the Academy Admissions program, represents the Air Force at numerous College Fairs, Senior Awards Nights, Local Parent’s Club Events, press briefings, and Congressional Liaison for NW FL. Jan 87 to Jan 90 USAF F-15 PILOT/INSTRUCTOR PILOT-EGLIN AFB, FL F-15 Mission Commander, 4 ship flight lead. Participated in major exercises such as Coronet Phaser, Solid Shield, Copper Flag, Red Flag and large force employment exercises. Trained newly operational pilots in basic fighter maneuvers, weapons and tactics. As Assistant Chief of Squadron Weapons, managed squadron special programs and NATO readiness training. Additional duties include Wing Supervisor of Flying, Wing Weapons and Tactics Instructor AIM-9 Series, and Squadron Life Support Officer. Dec 85 to May 86 ASSISTANT WING EXECUTIVE OFFICER-COLUMBUS AFB, MS Reviews, edits, and writes correspondence for the Commander’s signature. Advises the Commander on such issues as personnel, operational plans and programs, and student training. Plans and coordinates visits by civilian and military dignitaries.
