David's Story

Life I was the Yank in the first graduating class of A.P. Low during the school's first year. My dad was in the U.S. Air Force (serving in Thailand during the Vietnam war 1970-1971) and my mom was a Newfoundlander. My sister, Debbie, and I were living with our mom's brother in Labrador City during that year. My dad returned, we moved to Scott AFB, Illinois, USA, for 2 1/2 years and I attended Mascoutah Community High School, then to Ramstein, Germany where I graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School in 1975. ved to Tallahassee, Florida, USA, to attend Florida State University. My family returned from Germany in 1984 and I moved to San Antonio, Texas, to reunite. I worked as a civilian for the Air Force at Kelly AFB until the base was slated for closure. In 1998 I returned to Florida State University to study Management, Information Systems and Computer Science. I now work for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration as a senior programmer/analyst and live on acreage near Havana, Florida, with my 4 Siberian Huskies.
