David's Story
I worked a couple years after graduation then went to WVU at Morgantown . I did my part to help WVU get the reputation as a party school for one year, didn't return for another. Married Patty Gibson from Belpre in 1975. Had several jobs including driving sprint cars, owning a auto repair business, selling cars at Dils Ford. 1977. Finished a 5 year apprenticeship in 1981. Patty and I had 2 boys, one in 1983 and one in 1986. In 1990 I went to work at Shell Chemical in Belpre and retired the first of April 2013. I lost Patty to cancer in 2011. I collect old muscle cars and hot rods. I live in the middle of 55 acres outside Williamstown and the cars and taking care of the property keep me busy. Hoping to travel, especially to the beach!
