Thomas's Story
I left Hillcrest after my junior year to attend the U of Utah. I was given early entrance to college and :Hillcrest gave me my diploma after I completed my freshman year of college. I completed college and law school at Utah and moved to Washington, DC where I worked for the Federal Communications Commission as a lawyer. After four years, I quit the FCC and got an MBA at Wharton. Over the next forty years, I worked in the telecommuncations, biotech and energy industries. ives in Maryland with his wife. We lived in the DC metro area for about 30 years, then moved to Abingdon, a small town in Southwest Virginia, for six years. Last year, we retired and relocated to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where we are currently living. We were enjoying exploring the art galleries, Mayan ruins and other attractions around here and working to learn Spanish when the coronavirus hit. We are now sheltered in place and doing fine. I am still learning Spanish and doing a lot of reading, walking and watching Netflix.
