My friend, Stephen gave some bannock mix so I made it for a snack.
Roast beef, rice, mixed vegetables and gravy! We're the perfect match. I like the fatty parts and Elaine likes the lean!

And for an encore, red velvet cake!
I made some hasselback potatoes today! Thinly sliced drenched with garlic butter, olive oil and salt and pepper. 425 for 50 minutes. Simple.
My most common accident in the kitchen is cutting myself while peeling potatoes!
On the positive side we had breakfast for dinner today!
We had a lot of heavy wet snow and unfortunately followed by light rain that made heavy slush. I ended up shoveling the laneway by hand this morning. It was a good workout and probably not a perfect job.
I did the errands yesterday so I get to work in today! Barkley got his tick medicine! It's always time for coffee!
