David's Story
After Panas, I obtained a criminal justice degree from Rockland Community College with the intention of becoming a New York State trooper, but NY went financially bust in '75, so I enlisted in the Marines and learned a trade with electronic repair. After the Marines I helped a small computer company assist AT&T from progressing from the analog to the digital age. ncial controller on the shuttle and bomber programs. Then I applied to and was accepted by the CIA where I spent thirty years in a variety of roles supporting the US policymaker and defense department that allowed me to travel the world and meet foreign heads of state. Retired in 2018 but went back several times as a contractor. Been off for a year now, but talking to recruiters about going back for another gig. The mission and talented people I get to work with is quite exciting and I do miss the hustle and bustle. Time will tell if I find the right fit or if I slow down to finally enjoy retirement. It's been quite a journey; one that I could never have imagined.
