David's Story
Life
- Born in Austin, TX 1963 at St. David's Hospital.
- Moved to Pasadena TX went to Zion Lutheran Church and School.
- Went to South Houston High School for Freshman Year, starred in a couple of Plays.
- Went to Lutheran High School, starred in plays and musicals, played football, (Senior Year Team Captain and All District) Soccer, sang in Choir, inadvertently ended up on the Student Council too.
- Went to Concordia Lutheran College, Made Varsity Soccer Team, worked downtown Austin in Texas Landmark Littlefield Building
- Graduated from Lakewood Bible Institute
- Began David Whitehead Ministries, guest speaking in various churches of central Texas
- Accepted Pastorate of Missions Outreach Church in East Austin
- Became Youth Pastor and late...Expand for more
r Administrator of Prevailing Faith Church of Austin
- Got married on January 15th, 1994
- Mother passed away from Cancer at age of 49, April 19th, 1994
- Daughter, Victoria Holly Lynne Whitehead, born August 17th, 1994
- Established Contractor Agency called "Dial a Contractor" in Austin
- Have written and published four Christian books, three Conservative books, and have written over forty poems as the "Poet Patriot", and have begun a Conservative Newsletter called "The Austin Conservative".
(Incidentally, lately in the last 24 months I have had great conversations on the phone with Chuck Winkler, Danny Passmore, Greg Finke, Rick Niesyto, and Clayton Shepherd. I have had a hard time trying to find out how to reach Ozzie Carlton and Cindy Rimes!)
