I enlisted in the Army in 68 and retired from there in 88. There's no place like home so instead of accepting job offers in Texas, Virginia and California, I came back to the area and returned to Hohenwald in 1990. I worked at various jobs such as Insurance, Purchasing Agent at the Local Hospital, worked for John Adkins at the print shop, at a couple of fac...Expand for more
tories (hated that), and as a satellite systems installer. I worked for a couple of years at the Saturn Plant then my son and I did landscaping and lawn maintenance for a few years which I loved doing. To many years of abuse to my body by the military and playing basketball caused 2 hip and knee replacements. The addition of a bad back forced me to retire.
