Hey Formative YEARS - PEERS, Wow, God is always right, "Life is but a Vapor" What a ride !!! General Manager of a TV station, in Education, and involved in Christian ministry in the States and abroad. Great Times !!! Briefly married (8 yrs) and have one married son with his own family and works for a large Investment Company. Proud grandfather of two, with another on the way in 2020.
You may remember me as a friendly-introvert, squirrelly looking guy in the yearbook. I was athletic, just not at Sandia HS (City-league Softball, Golf, Tennis, College Soccer, etc) I was more involved at Hoffmantown Baptist Church's large youth group/choir, than at Sandia. HS. Attended Eubank Elementary; Grant Jr High; Sandia HS -1975. Then college at Wayland Baptist College, Plainview, Tex.; transferred to Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO.; Grad. School in New Orleans, LA. Earned one masters, and then later was working on a second masters, when I needed to return to Albuquerque.
INTERESTING FACTS : 1) My first golf tournament with Mr. John Conner (business teacher at SHS). First tee, other golfers around me, a little nervous, I address the ball, then hit it. What happens, the ball splits in two pieces. What do you do? Take the furthest piece. What a fluke ! Later a hole in one in the same tournament 2) Stranded in the Gulf of Mexico, fishing with two older Cajuns, filled up five ice chest rather quickly, engine quits, and floated for hours. (Fishing with Cajuns means - no forms of communication, one ore, no flares or flashlights, no land in sight, no food or drinking water, on a 16ft aluminum boat) Finally a tug boat spots us and towed to an oil platform and then into land. My Cajun brothers are great guys 3) Held hostage in a Hospital ER in New Orleans. 4) Worked in El Salvador during the Twelve Year Conflict, entering the war zone at times. Detained once of mistaken identity 5) Worked in Panama during Noriega's time in office as the US brought sanctions against them. Was personal attacked for my money and valuables. Bodyguards protected me. 6) Off the Northeast coast of Panama, worked on the San Blas Islands with the Primitive Kuna Indians. No electricity or runnin...Expand for more

In college crushed my C6 & 7 in car accident. In 2013, from wear & tear, suffered a L4 & 5 spinal cord injury, followed by large saddle pulmonary embolism.. Had to learn how to walk all over again and now disabled. Recently diagnosed with Leukoaraiosis or Chronic Cerebral Small Vessel Disease, a common, untreatable brain disease in some of those over 50 yrs, (Google it); and Silent Migraines. These could lead to blindness, stroke, dementia, and death. Using this time to write. Still working with my publisher, but it will come out under D.K. Williams. Be patient for its arrival. Please purchase as it will mean a lot to your life now and for all eternity.
I have somewhat of a photographic memory, so I remember most people I went to school with. I rejoice with You that have done well and/or stayed healthy. I hurt with those who have had it hard (cancer, heart problems, other diseases, business/employment difficulties & losses). Truly saddened by those we have lost. ( loss of parents, siblings, spouses, children, close friends, classmates ) My thoughts and prayers are for All of You.
A great thing about these days is that we are not separated by cliques or interest groups, but now are equal and we have time to know those people we may not have known. If you didn't know me then, contact me, as I would love to know You and possibly be an encouragement to You or be a friend. Soon this life will be over, What then for You ? How do you know where you will be going for all eternity ? Never assume anything about Eternity. 100% knowing, based on facts, not opinions or being a good person, or good works (for how good is good enough?), or vain, futile philosophies or gods, or pseudo-Christianity. The choice is now, not later. Be Sober-Minded and know the Truth. Don't be Biblically Ignorant, Spiritually Blind. Get a modern translation of the Bible and Ask God to reveal Himself as you read and meditate in the Bible (New Testament). The clock is ticking and we may be one heartbeat away from eternity.
