David's Story
Life
It's a Friday afternoon and I don't want to work, so I'm going to kill some time writing here.
After graduation, me, Lester and Shaw went fishing at the outerbanks, how naive were we back then. I left for The Citadel in August '81 and spent 4 years in Charleston. I had to attend summer school most every summer so I was pretty much in Charleston year round. I graduated in '85 and was commissioned a 2nd LT in the Army and left for Ft. Benning. I spent 7 months there doing various training and then left for Korea two weeks before Christmas. I was in Korea with B Co 1-31 (M) Infantry 2 ID until June '87 and went back to Ft. Benning. Max Kuhns had been assigned to Benning also, so I moved in with him. Needless to say we had a pretty good time. I met Ruth Anne at Ft. Benning in Nov '88 she was a JAG (lawyer for the Army)and we were married at the Ft. Beening Chapel in Oct '90. A week after the wedding, I went to Ranger School and Ruth Anne left for Ft. Bragg. d we sat the first Gulf War out there in the rear detachment. Ruth Anne and I made our last jump there from a blackhawk. I got out of the Army in Jul '91 and Ruth Anne got out in Mar '92. We stayed in Fayetteville after we got out. David Shaw moved to Fayetteville in Jun '92 as a manager with Sprint Cellular and seeings as how I was unemployed, he was kind enough to hire me as a sales rep. We stayed in Fayetteville until Apr '95 when we decieded to move back home. (Home for me, Clemmons, Ruth Anne is from Columbus WI) I floated from one job to the other trying to find something that I liked and once again Shaw called and offered me a job as a sales rep for a Temp Staffing company he had just started working for. We got fired from that job (long story) in Oct '99 and the next month we started our own staffing service and we have been in business together ever since. Zeke was born in May of '02 and the girls were born in Aug '03. Thats the last 25 years of my life in a nutshell. Questions?
