David's Story
Life
Hi
I didn't enjoy High School and I didn't see a bright future in Decatur so 10 days after graduation I left for the Navy to be a Hospital Corpsman (medic).
Medical work was fun but the military wasn't, I did have some interesting adventures though in Saudi Arabia.
After the military I stayed in Ventura California and started going to school (see list). I now consider Ventura more of my hometown then Decatur ever was.
The military taught me one important thing: if you don't want an idiot for a boss, then you...Expand for more
need to go to college (still no guarantees).
I spent the next 14 years collecting degrees from Ventura Community, UC Santa Barbara, San Jose State and Arizona State.
It wasn't all school though, after my undergrad I started working for Lockheed Martin and continued for 9 years.
I am an avid musician playing violin in orchestras (community college) and guitar or bass in various band or solo.
Now I am in San Jose, married (Jan 06) and I have a baby girl (May 07). Everything is going great!
I will be at the reunion.
