After high school, I spent 10 years in Tucson going to school and working at interesting programming jobs. This culminated in working for DEC, who moved me to Los Alamos, NM. After a couple of years there (a truly strange place), I moved to Seattle, Wa. for a job developing control systems for electrical utilities, all on DEC computers. or DEC at DECWest in Seattle, which led me to Microsoft, where I worked for a couple of years developing Windows NT networking software, and then for 6 more years as a technical evangelist, traveling the world and singing the praises of MS technology. I retired from MS in 1998 to raise kids, and moved to the Reno, NV area to get back to the sun. We're building a house there now...
