Life
I have one daughter, she was born in 1998.
College
I attended Kenyon College in Ohio from 1975-1979. Later, in 1991 while stationed in the Philippines, I received a MA in Asian Studies from the University of the Philippines.
Workplace

Military
I entered the U.S. Air Force Officer Training School in 1980 and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in 1981. I served for more than 21 years and retired in 2002 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I lived in the Philippines for nearly five years, and Belgium for more than seven years.
