David's Story

Life Shortly after graduating from HS I was drafted into the Marine Corps where I served 2 years. After my military service I went to UTEP for 2 years (pre-pharmacy) then transferred to UT Austin where I earned a BS in pharmacy (1972) and eventually a Ph.D. (1977) in pharmaceutical chemistry. I taught for several years at Idaho State Univ then moved to Ft. Worth where I worked for Alcon Labs as a chemist. In 1981 I moved back to Austin where...Expand for more
I was employed by Radian Corporation for 9 years. In 1990 I started my own business (CEDRA Corporation/cedracorp. c and cedraresearch.c) which provides drug reserach services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. I was married was married for 28 years and have two grown sons, both graduates of UT (hook'em horns). My oldest David is a pilot in the Marine Corps and my second son Michael works for me in the marketing department.
