Life I graduated from Kimball High in 1963 after leaving Niles in 1958. From there, I joined the Navy where I became a Photographer's Mate. I left the Navy in 1967 to go to college, U. of MD, Baltimore County (UMBC) where I received my BA in 1971. From there, I went to Paris for a year and then to Northern Illinois U. where I got my Ph.D. in 1987. And after that, I went to work in the Bush Administration writing speeches for the Secretary of the Navy until 1991 when I was forced to take a disability retirement after suffering a berry aneurysm rupture (i.e., a stroke) and had to teach myself how to walk and talk all over again! In order to get my mind working again, I enrolled myself in the Maryland Rehabilitation Center's computer programming course and while there, met my wife through a video dating service. We got married (for the first time) to a M.D. at Johns Hopkins University (Susan MacDonald) and have moved into the home along Cypress Creek in Severna Park, MD. Workplace I have a Ph.D. in Political Science, was working in the Bush Administration, writing speeches for the Secretary of the Navy in 1989-1991.
