David's Story

After Grad, I moved with family and went to work for a while bouncing from this and that til I finally joined the U.S. Army, no surprises there. I served for 9 1/2 years active and 2 years inactive reserve. Hurt myself and had to get out. Saw some action in Korea and some in Germany, mostly terrorists and knuckleheads wanting attention but not comitted to a cause.Lost two marriages to the Army and one more becuz I did it for the wrong reasons and did not last. I serve with the Disabled American Veterans, VFW, American Legion and I.O.O.F. Trying to stay busy and helping ...Expand for more
those soldiers and their families they left behind.I have had a good life and could complain but not that much. Everything is everything and I have been there and done that. Alot more than most and I am glad to have done that. Hope my classmates will forget the stupid stuff we all did and remember what we all tried to do. There were a lot of people I wanted to get better acquainted with but was too busy doing other stuff or caught up in the grind and never got to do it. Such is life, enjoy what you can when you can and leave the rest for tomorrow or the day after...LOL.
