David's Story
After High School, I went to college at Chico State University. That was followed by the Navy where I was a Naval Flight Officer on P-3 aircraft and subsequently Water Survival Swim Division Officer. After active duty, I stayed in the reserves. I went back to school and got an M.S. in Education from U. of West Florida. I've done post masters work at both FSU and UCF, but no more sheep skins. erves as a Commander. As a result of flying, I've lost a lot of my hearing and have learned American Sign Language. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in 1977 and was ordained as a lay pastor to the Deaf in 2002. I have also been involved in Christian Taekwondo for the past 18 years and am the senior instructor for a school in Orlando. I am currently a 4th Dan and enjoy competing in the U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association tournament circuit as a senior (Age 55+). I married Patti in 1969 and we have three sons - Rob (36), Jon (27), and Steve (21).
