David's Story
Went to BGSU and graduated December 1971. In US Navy boot camp December 22, 1971. Served active duty until June 1976 and in reserves until June 1978. Rank of Quartermaster 2nd Class. (marine navigation). One round the world cruise. One circumnavigation of South America. One Med Cruise. Many Caribbean cruises. Through the Panama Canal twice (helmsman both times on two different ships). Served on a destroyer, a guided missile cruiser and a tank landing ship. Was on USS Belknap in November 1975 when in collision with aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy. Since then, I have been in insurance claims business and retired as Director of Liability Claims for Budget Rent a Car and Budget Truck Rental, handling claims nationwide.
Currently a 100% disabled veteran due to relapse of PTSD which Ihave had since 1975. I have a wife and two kids, both grown. I ride motorcycles ...Expand for more

I have been clean and sober since April 17, 1991.

Sailed the Bosporus and Dardanelles. Straits of Gibralter.
