David's Story
Life
Married my wonderful wife Alicia in 2003. We have a 14 year old daughter Kayla that I adopted in the spring of 2004 and we just had a new bundle of joy in December 2004 named Emily. She was 6lbs 12oz and is a very pleasant and happy baby.

Workplace
Joined the Army after graduating from Oley Valley High School in 1987. After leaving the Army I was hired by Entre` Computers (which became Ameridata in 1995 and GE Capital ITS in 1996) where I did computer installations and upgrades until I left the company in 1998. I worked for Arrow International for approximately 8 months until I went back to GE Capital to do contract work at Binney & Smith in Stockertown, PA. I stayed on there until we lost the contract in 2001 and then went to work as a contractor at Sovereign Bank. I was hired directly by Sovereign Bank in 2002 and am doing PC and network support. Military
Left for Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC in September 1987. Attended AIT at Ft. Gordon until spring of '88 and then was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC with HHC 25th Signal Battalion until July '89. Shipped off to the 22d Maintenance Company in Heilbronn, GE and was there until 1991. During that time my unit deployed to Southeast Asia for Desert Storm and I spent nearly 6 months there. The Double-Deuce deactivated once we returned to Germany and I transferred to HHC 51st Signal Battalion in Ludwigsburg, GE. I was there until the beginning of 1993 when 51st deactivated and travelled to Ft. Bragg where it was reactivated. I stayed in Germany and transferred to HHC 17th Signal Battalion in Kitzingen, GE. I stayed there until I ETS'd in July of 1994.
Civilian Life
Got a job doing computer configuration and installation after leaving the Army in 1994. Kept that job until 2002 with a brief stint with another company. I now work for Sovereign Bank doing computer networking. Sovereign Bank is based out of Wyomissing, PA and has office locations seven Northeast states. I live in Blandon, PA with my wife and kids.
