Life is full of twists and turns, and journeys that often haunt us. What we learn from our adventures is what guides us into the future, to repeat the mistakes we have already made until we learn our lesson, or to proceed on with our journey and onto the next quest. Our perspective of life is uniquely our own, no two people, even identical twins have the same life experiences, and therefore how we view the world is uniquely up to us. If we accept that there can be two opposing opinions that are equally right, we can learn to understand one another and make this world a better place to be. My life has been about becoming the person I have always been, to stop playing a character to make others happy. In the end, not only did I hurt those I cared the most about, but I also nearly ended my life when I did not conform to society's norms. I was fortunate to have some good friends and professional help in my life while I was going through some extremely difficult times. These people helped me through the process and helped me to understand the errors in my thinking. There is no such thing as society's normal, only each individual's idea of what normal is.
