David's Story
Life
After graduation I attended CWSC until my money ran out. I was on my way to the BOEING employment office, but it was raining and the bus stopped in front of the Pacific NW Bell employment office. I went in, and came out 34 years later. Along the way, I got married, had 2 wonderful children, and got divorced. I also was drafted and spent a couple of years in the US Army, mostly in Germany. ) and we raised my 2 and her son. I am now semi retired and we are living outside of Tonasket, not far from where I spent a portion of my misspent youth. We have about 40 acres and usually have 7 or 8 horses. We are active in the Backcountry Horsemen and spend a lot of time working to maintain trails on public lands and working through the local public land managers and legislature to ensure that public lands remain open to the public.
