David's Story

After HS, I joined the US Marine Corps Reserve. From 1979 to 1983, I served in the Corps as a reservist, while earning my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration at CSU, Fresno. Upon graduation, I accepted a fellowship to study law at Gonzaga University School of Law where I earned my Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1986. My wife, Angie and I will be married for 31 years this coming December 17th. I have five beautiful children, 4 girls, one boy...Expand for more
, no grandchildren - yet. And me? I've been a criminal defense lawyer in private practice for over 26 years managing my own law firm in Bakersfield, California. I practice both State and Federal law. In June, 2013, I retired from the US Army Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps after serving a total of 34.5 years.
