Life
I have been a copy editor for a national mathematics teachers' association in Reston, Va., since 1996. I moved to Winchester, Virginia in March 2001, when I bought a house. The area's pretty, but summers are blazingly hot and extremely humid. Air conditioning is a necessity from late May through early September. th of us. That gave me an instant family of four¿and then five¿ for a while. Sophi has two children: Michael, 23, and Melissa, 17 in 2009, both living in Tennessee now. Colin, my son by my second marriage, is 18 and lives with his mother in Alaska. Sophi and I have a daughter, Stella Isadora Webb, born June 30, 2004, and now in preschool. We spend a great deal of our free time with various activities in the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval reenactment organization.
