Annemarie Davin:  

Life I moved to New York in 1993 primarily to pursue my acting career which was going good in L.A. but a lot of people kept telling me I had the look that fit well in N.Y. (Maybe because I'm from N.Y. & my Italian genes are prominent? Hmm..) So I came here and of course had to get a job which I did within in a week and one thing led to another which led me where I am today which is in advertising/media sales at Dan's Papers in the Hamptons. I love what I do and the people I work with and my clients. I try to support charities and charity events as often as I can. I also write for one of our papers every now and then (The Montauk Pioneer, our Montauk newspaper). One day I will publish a book but you'll have to wait to find out what it's about. (I don't want to jinx anything). I love living out here on Long Island where there's so much green, I'm surrounded by water and boating communities and I have great friends. I have two dogs, one is a pug and one is a dachsund and they are my kids. I live with my housemate, Dan, (he actually owns the house) and he is my "brother" and we try to watch out for one another because we both know the meaning of false friendships so we try to take care of each other. I do visit California often because my family is still there. My sister, Michele, is married and has 2 kids, Whitney, 15, and Brian, 10, and my youngest sister, Frances (Mary Frances), is also married and has 1 kid, Eric, 1 1/2. My niece and nephews are like my own because I adore them, I love them to death and I would take a bullet for any of them. Also, since our parents died when we were young, I watch out for my sisters because they're my sisters but also in a way like a mother does. I'm the oldest and I feel it's my duty to protect them since our parents can't. My father passed away July, 1982 (I was 16) & my mom in December, 1991 (I was 25).
