Gary's Story
I left Pleasant Hill right after graduation from College Park and attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo majoring in Aeronautical Engineering. Also did graduate studies at Stanford, UCLA, and USC before settling in Southern California where I got married, raised 4 children, and spent 42+ years working as a structural engineer for Aerojet Rocketdyne on the Space Shuttle and other rocket propulsion programs. a job at Blue Origin where I am currently employed enjoying the challenge of developing space propulsion. I've got 4 grandchildren so far and hope my kids have a few more as they are so precious. I'm still active in sports, regularly cycle on my road bike, and am looking forward to a few more century rides before I get too old to ride. I'm also into pickle ball and am enjoying playing that with my wife of 38 years. I'm looking forward to our CPHS 50+ year reunion in July.
