Laurie's Story
I was a late bloomer! It took me a while to be comfortable in my own skin, but oh, what fun I've had over the last 30 years. I've been married for 24 of them! Robert and I have a sweet, funky, quirky and smarter than I ever was 22-year old daughter named Karianne. I became a graphic artist, a fine artist (hand-painted tile), photographer and for the last 13 years have worked at a winery in Sonoma County (Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards). I loooove to ride my mountain bike (only one concussion!) and a couple of years ago started taking drum lessons. I'm a real sucky rock band of one, but it's very fun! My hu...Expand for more
sband owns a window cleaning business and has just started a new business of sound reinforcement, both one-man (him!) operations. Our daughter lives in Monterey, CA and graduated from CSU Monterey Bay this year. We weren't sure how we'd like the empty nest thing, but have discovered we like it just fine! She's only a few hours away when we get lonely for her (and vise versa). We've lived in Sonoma County for the last 22 years. Except for a couple of years in Quincy, CA and a short 3-year stint in Bozeman, MT, I've been in Sonoma County since I graduated. Anybody else out there live in the Bay Area?
