Dawn's Story
Let's play catch up: the past 3years have flown by! I joined the army right out of high school. But went into the reserves letting me come right back home. In 2005 I decided to go full time and ended up in Texas at Fort Hood. In 2006 I deployed to Iraq and came back in April 07. On November 2 my boyfriend proposed. We have been in the same unit ever since I got to Fort Hood but we didn't start dating until we came back from Iraq. He proposed to me in the middle of the airport with everybody watching. er 13, I found out we were pregnant and 2 days later I left Ft. Hood to be stationed in VA an hour away from my fiance. In March the army got the great idea to send me to California and stick me in the middle of the desert (2 hrs from Vegas) on the other coast from my fiance! On June 8, 2008 we were married in Vegas with me 7 months pregnant (check out my myspace; last name Bostic) and we welcomed Jayla Rae Bostic on August 11, 2008. It's been a busy time, but I'm so happy to be blessed with this life.
