Dawn's Story
Life
Since graduating from high school in 1994, many things have changed! I graduated from Hiram College in 1998 with a BA in psychology. (Fellow VF graduate Laurie Roth was my roomie for four years!) Later, I went on to earn an MA in bioethics at Case Western Reserve University (2003). In 2002, I landed the perfect job - Coordinator for The Center for Biomedical Ethics at a large urban hospital. I really am excited to have the opportunity to use my graduate degree!
I married Mike Smith on June 10, 2000. Michael is now an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at our large urban hospital. We "moved on up" from our little bungalow to a place further out from the city. Most importantly, we added two new bundles of joy to the mix: Cynthia Louise and Madeleine Jane (June 2008). Yes, this twin had twins!
